Getting your name balanced is the quickest Yoga!

People often ask the question 'who am I?' This a question we have been wondering about for millennia and it is a very goof question.

An identity is really whatever you identify yourself as. You either identify with your birth-path or with your name.

The first thing we give a new born baby is a name! Without a name, the child cannot identify itself as a unique individual.

The name is a gift.

To the Yantra yogi,  a person should be living according to one's birth-path, which is the blueprint for that individual's particular lifetime for this incarnation. There is no higher or lower birth-path! All that is needed, is for the individual to be one's true self, that means to live according to their birth-path, and for that to be one's identity.

But our name influences our identity. In fact, according to my teacher, the name is one's identity! think about it. if someone asks you 'who are you?', You would answer with your name.

Because we identify with the name, we become the name.

That is why yantra yoga teaches to make the name exactly in harmony with the birth-path. It will be right always and one is now aligned with the what one should be.

My teacher taught that the birth-path is who a person SHOULD BE, while the name is who the person IS.

When there is a conflict between the two, there will be confusion and suffering.

When they are in harmony, you get balance.

Identity and name

Yantra Yoga

Yantra Yoga is the ancient science of analyzing names using mathematical principles to reveal the vibration contained in the name.

The ancients realized that the letters of the alphabet had a creative power, as they go up to make the language, which is the basis of intelligence. The ancients knew the power contained in words and names, based on the mathematical principle, and they were able to decipher the unique potential and purpose of each individual based on their birth date.

The birth date reveals your potential, purpose, strengths, likes, dislikes, expression, tendencies.

Your name reveals your personality, thought patterns

Your full name reveals your destiny.

The ancients were able to utilize the mathematical principle to give you a name which was completely harmonized to your inner potential as they knew that the name creates the personality and has a very great influence on you from the time you are born.

Yantra yoga reveals that there are two types of people in the world - inspirational or technical. It is a tragedy when you get a technical person using an inspirational name. This person will struggle as his inner nature is now out of harmony with his name.

It is also a tragedy when parents out of ignorance give their children names based solely on aesthetic reasons without knowing that the name has to be vibrationally suited to the unique nature of each child.

Know thyself and be at peace!

Know thyself is the age old dictum attributed the Pythagoras, it is no coincidence that Pythagoras was a numerologist and taught numerology to his students at his academy as an advanced study after the student had learned mathematics.

Many people contact me to ask me what to expect when their name gets balanced.

Most people do not know what to expect and sometimes have the wrong expectations.

In yantra yoga, the goal is self realization. Once that is achieved, then everything else you need will come as a natural result.

This is achieved by harmonizing your name in a precise way to one's birth date, so that the inner and outer nature of a person is aligned with their birth path.

The birth path reveals the person's PURPOSE.

All we want to do is align a person with his or her purpose! And then maintain that connection.

So here is what to expect when your name gets balanced:

You will know yourself and be at peace with yourself!

See, when you know yourself and you are at peace with who you are, then your life will change in the most wonderful way.

You will still go through challenges just like everyone else, make no mistake.

There is no way to avoid that, but you will know yourself and be at peace with yourself, and this makes a world of difference.

You will still have to deal with difficult people and frustrating situations.

But you will have an inner compass which will allow you to have to confidence to make the best choices for yourself.

A tremendous amount of stress is caused within a person by a sense of conflict between warring aspects within your own self,

between one's purpose and one's inner tendencies.

What yantra yoga does is to balance the mind so that there is harmony within and one is in harmony with one's purpose.

This bring a great contentment and fulfillment.

It is quite simple,

but simply being at peace within one's self, although it sounds simple,

is actually the key to happiness.

This is achieved by knowing one's self and being at peace with one's self.

I know this is quite an abstract idea, but I think you understand what I am getting at.

The goal of Yantra yoga is self realization

Yantra yoga is a YOGA where the main goal is SELF REALIZATION, We are shooting for that highest goal, and everything else will also be given to us along the way.

People want success and so forth, but don't be shortsighted, get Self realization and then success will come naturally.

My Teacher, Swami Harinanda, who was a yoga adept in kriya yoga and and master in yantra yoga used to say that yantra yoga is the jet plane route to self realization.

Yantra yoga is a simple method to align the inner and outer nature of the individual with their SOUL purpose. By doing this one simple act, the person gets onto spiritual path and starts his evolution to higher states of consciousness most rapidly.

One's new name acts like a 24/7 mantra that is continually working to align the person with their highest purpose. As soon as a person has become IDENTIFIED with his new name, it starts to take effect. As soon as that person responds to his new name, it begins to work.

The new name then works continually to keep the person's inner and outer nature aligned to his highest SELF/SOUL purpose, and by doing this, the person starts to feel at PEACE.

You brain starts to work better because the communication is so clear from the consciousness to the brain, that one improves mentally and physically also.

Because one's mind is now clear and operating in an optimum way, one's concentration and memory is strengthened

Because there is hardly any conflict in the mind, one is more relaxed and does not suffer from stress related physical ailments. This is significant as it is estimated that at least 75% of most physical discomforts are of psychosomatic origin.

You start to become healthier and whole.

You will feel balanced and therefore make much better decisions, that will lead to greater fulfillment rather than being pulled this way and that way by tendencies which are not aligned to your TRUE nature.

3 steps towards happiness

Happiness is really something that starts within.

Three things are needed for inner happiness:

Step 1. Understand yourself

You have to understand who you are, or at least who you SHOULD be. This is achieved, by knowing your birth path, and then understanding the qualities and characteristic of your birth path and also current minor period. (There are other posts on this blog which explain this in more depth).

When you understand yourself, then that leads to the next step.

Step 2. Accept yourself

When you understand yourself using step 1, then you will be able to accept whop you are, without trying to change it as that is who you were meant to be. You will stop comparing yourself to others and simply be at PEACE with you you are. This brings great peace and contentment. Just knowing you you are meant to be, and then and then letting that be okay!

Step 3. Express Yourself

Once you have understood yourself and then accepted yourself, that is all that is needed for inner happiness, but for total fulfillment, one mus then express one's self in the world. That means not hiding who you really are, but expressing your natural qualities openly, so that their is coherence between what you present to the outside world, and what you are inside.

Conclusion:

These there steps are essential to anyone seeking happiness.

Anyone can step into their birth path at any moment, when they DECIDE to do so! That is crucial. You have to make a decision to be who you SHOULD be as revealed by your birth path.

Once you do that, then you will be able to go through the steps as delineated above.

Now I will explain where the name comes in. The name forms the MIND tendencies of the person. The name gives FORM in the form of mental tendencies.

If the name is in alignment with the birth path and in harmony with it, then the steps delineated above, will be much easier and effortless.

If the name is contrary or out of harmony with the birth path, then the above steps take much more effort.

What is a balanced name?

What is a Balanced Name?

It's a name in complete harmony with your birth date and thus channels you naturally toward your true purpose in life.

When you choose a new balanced name, the effects can be immediate and dramatic. The way you look at yourself, the way others perceive and treat you, your level of confidence, your energy, creativity and self-esteem, all can improve significantly.

For many, changing their name to a balanced one is an extraordinarily uplifting experience, having a far greater impact on their lives than they imagined

That's because the first and last names we recommend to you have more than aesthetic and linguistic appeal. They are intrinsically tied to your birthpath, the original calling you were meant to pursue. They are fully in sync with the cycles and phases of your life, measured from the day you were born, so the path to realizing your full potential becomes clear and attainable.
